Saya Kaneda is a native of Tokyo and is working as a Japan Outreach Coordinator at the Asian Studies Center at Michigan State University. She will be bringing Japanese calligraphy sets to teach us how to write our names in Japanese using Kanji, the modern Japanese writing system.
