How to tell if your eclipse glasses are safe.

This year's solar eclipse will be visible across the US. Technically this is a TOTAL Solar Eclipse, but in Michigan we will only see PART of the sun obscured (we won't go totally dark here). Click here for more info and a map of where to go in the US if you want to see the 2017 eclipse In Totality. But our event here, a partial eclipse, is still going to be pretty fun!

Here's another great map from NASA!

Please note: this event will take place rain or shine - we'll have lots of activities even if it is cloudy, and we'll live stream the eclipse from a sunnier place.

We are OUT of safety glasses to hand out right now. We WILL have more glasses during our eclipse event on Aug 21, 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
