Event Details

We all want to be stronger, smarter and more aware, but how and why do we Push The Limits? How do advances in science and technology affect our lives every day? Get involved in discussing ideas about Nature, Connection, Survival, and Knowledge with fellow community members in this four-part series. Session 1: Pushing the Limits of Survival
Pick up the book starting in March, and meet on this day for our first discussion! Cussler’s book spans multiple themes, from exploring the Northwest Passage to surviving in the arctic in modern times. We will also view and discuss two videos: an author interview with Clive Cussler and a video introducing the Shrum family, farmers who thrive with their “fix-it” mentality and their hobby participating in combine-harvester demolition derbies. Pick up a copy of the book at the Adult desk starting in March!
