Event Details

DOME: Begin your summer with a new adventure at the Highland Library. The Dome Theater is an inflatable planetarium that will be set up in our library for one day only. Digital programs from dinosaurs to a trip through the human body, from the universe to the ocean floor and more will be shown inside the dome with the movie projected all around you! The Dome is suitable for all ages, with the exception of infants and toddlers. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver. Entrance into the Dome will be first come, first served. Programs begin promptly - tickets will be available 30 minutes before each showtime! Brought to you by the Friends of the Library! INFLATABLES: Adding to the fun, outdoors between 12:00 and 3:00 there will be a bounce house, obstacle course and maze; brought to you by a grant from the Oakland County Parks and Recreation! Be sure to wear socks if you want to use these inflatables. SPEND THE DAY: Bring a picnic lunch, grab something to eat at a local restaurant or visit the Huron Valley Farmer's Market between shows. While you're at the library register for adult, teen and youth summer reading programs! The first dome program begins at 10:15.
