Event Type: Adult Programs
Age Group(s): Adults
Date: 11/30/2017
Start Time: 6:30 PM

Description:
Almost 80% of sudden cardiac arrests happen in the home. 92% of victims do not survive, often because people around them do not take action and begin CPR. You can help change this statistic by learning the simple skills of CPR/AED.

Family & Friends CPR/AED is for the layperson people who wants to learn CPR but does not need a CPR course completion card for his or her job. It is ideal for students, parents, grandparents, baby sitters and others interested in learning how to save a life. The training will also cover student athlete cardiac arrest risk and prevention.

For ages 9 and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who also signs up for the class.
This training is led by Hernandez, a public service aide at the Troy Police Department.
