Description:
 The development of the Sherwood Forest neighborhood mirrored the development of the auto industry in Detroit. Auto executives bought lots and had fine homes built in what their families called the "Grosse Pointe of North Woodward" Repeatedly tested over the years by a series of challenges, the neighborhood met those challenges and has become an example of Detroit's revitalization.
