 Read the book before hand and come to the library for a screening of the movie. We’ll compare the two and decide which is better.
Beastly by Alex Flinn is a modern day retelling of the fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast. In this version, the story is told from the point of the view of the Beast. Kyle Kingsbury is spoiled, rich and popular and he knows it. Until one day he crosses the wrong woman and is cursed to look like a monster and remain that way until he can find someone to love him for who he is.
