Adults of all ages are welcome to join the library's book group, led by OCC Professor Emerita Sandra Sutherland. This month's selection is part of the Created Equal Program Series: America's Civil Rights Struggle. Share the lives of three African American women growing up in the 1960's - a time of slow change in the racially divided small town in Indiana. Laugh and cry with Odette, Clarice, and Barbara Jean through the events of their lives. Please register. The Created Equal program series is made possible through a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, as part of its Bridging Cultures initiative, in partnership with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
