We'll be discussing Hag-Seed: The Tempest Retold by Margaret Atwood.
Felix is a top-notch artistic director at a theatre festival, whose productions amaze and confound audiences. Now to boost his reputation (and heal emotional wounds) he's staging a Tempest like no other. Instead, after an act of treachery, he finds himself living in exile, brewing for vengeance, and haunted by the memories of his beloved, lost daughter. Revenge arrives in the shape of a theatre course at a nearby prison. Here Felix and the inmate actors will put on his Tempest and snare the traitors who destroyed him. But will it remake Felix as his enemies fall?
